What has happened before 12th

Water - the sacred water - was brought from different rivers for this purpose. Almost water from all the rivers in India, and from rivers like Missicipi, Missouri in USA; water from Different Teerthas like - Pushkar Teertha from Pushkar - Rajastan; Amarganga from Amarnath - Himalayas; Sri Teertha - Sri Kurmam - Srikakulam; and water from many places like Dadhichi Kund - UP; Chakra Teerth - Naimisharanyam; were brought by near and dear with lot of efforts. Water from Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Black Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and like that eleven sea water was carried to the premises by different people. The sloka for pouring the water into the kalas is

GANGECHA, YAMUNECHAIVA, GODAVARI, SARASWATHI, NARMADE, SINDHU, KAVERI, KRISHNAVENI ETC GOES IN THIS MANNER. Thus while doing any ritual, the normal procedure is that we presume that we have all the waters of all the rivers are in front of us.

In the instant case, the waters were factually brought and one of my friend has even gone to River Sindhu in a different country to collect the water and send the same to the venue.

Thus, amazingly, water from and over 100 either rivers or seas, were collected and brought to the venue to commence the Holy Shashti Poorthi Mahostav on 12th. Myself, my wife Sow Padmavathy Somidevi and our only son Chiranjeevi Maruti Rama Raghav place our deep gratitude on record for each and every one who strived hard for this purpose and who showed that "nothing becomes impossible when a human desires". A huge task was successfully - amazingly - surprisingly - silently - completed by the near and dear amidst several odds, pains, troubles, and what not.

The beneficiaries were all those who attended on 12th and 13th since the SACRED WATER of all these places - was sprinkled - danced on the heads of those who attended the function.

Thus we all enjoyed the BOON OF THE LORDS OF WATER in the name of this Shashti Poorthi
