The Program on 12th Commenced with the prayers - the first prayers to Lord Ganapathi to make this function successful. Then Punyahavachanam - a procedural aspect of sanctifying the place, the persons with the vedic hymns.

The next aspect of the program was MANDAPAARADHANA. What is this ?

Mandapaaradhana is a place where we invite different Lords keeping in view of the main program and related Lords. In the instant case, there is a slight change - why slight - a major change in the procedure.

In the Shashtipoorthi Mahostav - we invite different Lords on the Mandapaaradhana. They are, the sixty years and its names; the Two Cycles of a year; the six seasons in a year; the twelve months of a year; the week days; the twenty seven stars; the twelve zodiac signs; the nine planets with adhidevata and pratyadhidevata; the three forms of Lords with their half parts; the dasa dikpaalaks - the ten directional forces; the five main elements of life - pancha bhootas; the six chakras of a human being since we are in Sri Vidya; Mahaa Mrityunjaya; Shri Lakshmi Ganapthi; Baala; Panchadasi; Shodasi Tripurasundari; and the related divine forces.

Thus Mandapaaradhana itself is a very tough task and huge matter in relation to the entire program.

We have specially desiged the Kalas for each of the Lord and got it done using pure brass metal so that it remain with the shrining for long time. We have also specially got Maha Mrityunjaya coins minted for this purpose, while we got the other Lords made in Silver or Gold depending on the need and connection.

This took a long time and also very expensive.
