Thanks to one and all and it is done

It is factually Chi Raghav - our son's ambition to do this on a grand scale and he reached India a day before the commencement of the event and before he is free from jetlog he involved in this and returned back to USA soon after completing the other formalities relating to the Event. He thanked each one for making this as grand success and making his dream to reality

Seeing of face in the Sacred Cow Ghee

One of the events of the occasion is that seeing of the faces after wearing new clothes upon completion of the Avabridha Stanam - in sacred Cow Ghee pouring the same in a pot. After seeing the same has to be offered to any brahmin - which is considered as a must amongst the daanas as per vedic ritual

The Avabridha Stanam

The waters procured from different sources are mixed up for giving us a bath using the traditional Sataschidram - a plate with 100 holes specially made for the event. The original brass plate has been in use in all our Yaagams since 1987 or so while special silver plates were got done for this particular event and the same can be seen in the brass plate.

My Mother In Law

My mother in law Smt Veeralakshmi Garu singing a classical song - memorizing the lyrics of her child hood days - way back to 85 years or so, since she is already 94 plus by 2008 of the age. She shared her pleasant thoughts on the successful completion of the event
